About us

A neighborhood club with a performance heart — clay courts, career coaches and a community that plays all year.

Our story

Twenty-five years of first serves

Larkspur Racket Club started in 2001 with three clay courts and a belief that a tennis club should coach, not just host. Today we run eight courts — clay and hard — a full coaching academy, junior squads, adult leagues and four racket sports under one membership.

What never changed is the personal approach: every member gets a named coach, a seasonal plan and video reviews that make progress visible. Beginners rally in week one; competitors travel with us to regional tournaments.

Why Larkspur

What we stand for

Coaching first

Every plan includes supervised practice. Court rental alone never improved anyone — coaching does, so it is built into every membership tier.

All ages, all levels

Five-year-olds in red-ball squads, eighty-year-olds in morning doubles. Groupings are by level, never by age alone, so everyone rallies.

Four racket sports

Tennis, squash, table tennis and badminton share one membership. Cross-training keeps bodies fresh and reflexes sharp all year.

Honest pricing

Six published plans, no joining fees, no lock-ins beyond a month. The price on the board is the price you pay.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do I need my own racket to join?

No. Premium tools membership includes free racket loans, and the pro shop demos every frame we sell. Buy only when you know what you like.

Can beginners join group sessions?

Yes — beginner squads run every weekday evening and Saturday morning. Your free assessment rally places you in the right group on day one.

How do court bookings work?

Members book up to 7 days ahead through the booking page or front desk. Prime-time slots (weekday evenings) open at 7am; off-peak is usually free same-day.

What should juniors bring to camp?

A racket if they own one (we lend the rest), sports shoes, a water bottle and lunch for full days. Sunscreen and a cap for summer weeks on clay.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes — freeze for 1 to 3 months per year for injury, travel or winter. Your rate and seniority are kept while the plan is paused.
